At the initial Lord’s Supper when Jesus said “…do this in remembrance of Me.” there were some aspects of the meal which many are not aware of.
They celebrated the Supper in a home ..not in a church.
It was a full meal not just emblems.
They didn’t meet on the Sabbath.
A small number attended, not a congregation.
Is this what Jesus meant us to do when He said “Do this.”?
Also, what does this Scripture mean?
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Cor 5:8
